A Love Letter To the Body
Our creative director Vivian just launched a very special project. ODE.
A nude coffee table book shot by Dutch photographer Philippe Vogelenzang. Captured in the landscape of Ibiza. Nearly three years in the making, this stunning nude book captures Vivian unclothed and vulnerable, yet powerful at the same time.
The book stands as a love letter to the body in all its fluctuations: as it is, as it was and as it can be. An embrace of folds, wrinkles and textures, constantly shifting and growing—just like the person existing beneath.
Vivian about ODE:
“I’m revealing a side of myself I’ve never shown before, even though I’ve already shared so much with you. I’m now showing you everything. Not just skin, but raw emotion. Moments of confidence, pain and everything in between: a story written by my body, shot in Ibiza by Philippe. He captured me in some of my darkest times. Looking at these images brings back intense emotions.

Through making this book, I've grown to appreciate my body even more, and its connection to nature. The rough landscapes, unusual poses and close-ups let me see it as a work of art. I’ve become obsessed with the texture of my skin and the magic of stretch marks. This experience was eye-opening, and now I feel more secure in my body than ever. This is probably the scariest thing I’ve ever done. We people can be incredibly harsh and unforgiving when it comes to appearance. But, like nature, we grow stronger through change. Like the seasons or an aging tree. Our bodies are no different, and we should celebrate their beauty more, at any shape.”
